At the recent Regional AGM, four of our volunteers received special awards. Whilst Ian wasn’t able to be at the AGM to collect in person, GSL Liz Garvie presented Ian with his 25 year service award at Beavers.
Well done, Ian, and thank you for everything you bring to the Group.
We have a committee meeting next Thursday 25 April, starting at 7.30pm in the Scout Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.

District Commissioner, Neil Rowland, popped along to the Scout Hall to award three of our Cubs with their well deserved Chief Scout Silver Award, the highest award available to Cubs.
Well done to Ethan, Kyle and Struan and we hope you hit the highest level during your time in Scouts too!
We have a really interesting and diverse programme to keep your kids entertained and learning the practical skills of life!! #skillsforlife
There are many, many badges to be awarded through Scouting, some are completed out with the weekly Cubs session and can be done through school, home life or the weekly clubs so many children attend.
We’ve listed just some of the badges we commonly see completed out with the weekly sessions – but there are loads more which may already have been completed! Make sure you look at the Challenge Awards at the bottom as we’d love it if your Cub could complete the Chief Scout’s Silver Award before heading off to Scouts, but we’ll need your help with this.
If you’ve not paid them already, the annual membership fees are due. If you would like to pay by bank transfer, the sort code is 80-12-71 and the account number is 00828848.
If you’d like to pay with cash or cheque, please hand it in as soon as possible. The fees are £35 per child.
Whether you are a Beaver, Cub or Scout, we would love it if you would attend the Annual Parade taking place on Sunday 22nd April.
Please let us know if you can come so we know the numbers. The more of us, the better!
We are looking for parents to help getting the kids to Linlithgow on the day too.
